About Me...

I am a highly motivated, non-judgmental clinician who draws from multiple facets of knowledge and personal experiences. I was a collegiate student-athlete, who struggled to find the balance between being "good enough" and striving for excellence.  After experiencing a career ending and life altering injury, I spent time traveling to re-discover my true self.  After doing so, I furthered my education in order to help other people through the process of overcoming challenges and rediscovering life’s purpose.

Surviving our daily lives is one thing, but truly enjoying them is a gift experienced by few.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, from Dalhousie University in Canada and a Masters in Sport Studies, followed by a Masters in Social Work, both from the University of Tennessee.

I work from a variety of treatment modalities, including but not limited to: EMDR, DBT, CBT, Ego State Therapy, and Experiential Therapy. Together we will work to discover the best way to reach your treatment goals. I am passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their strength, overcome past traumas or current stressors in order to discover their ideal self.

EMDR & Brainspotting are client favorites due to the change noticed in minimal sessions. These experiential modalities allow information within the brain to be reprocessed and reintegrated in a healthier manner. I am Certified EMDR Therapist with advanced training in attachment-focused EMDR and techniques focused on personality disorders and performance related issues.   I am also a certified in Brainspotting- Phase II.

In addition to working with clients to better themselves, I am motivated to continue advancing my clinical skills, as well as the the field of EMDR.  I have been an EMDR Coach and consultant for EMDR Consulting since 2013.
